Blending bold composition with delicate detail, Solo the Artist creates work that challenges perception and invites pause. Her practice spans painting, digital collage, and large-scale installations, each piece unfolding like a visual poem—layered, intentional, and emotionally resonant.
Born in Detroit and currently based in Atlanta, Solo draws inspiration from urban textures, quiet rituals, and ancestral memory. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions across the U.S. and was recently selected for an emerging artist residency with Westfield Arts Foundation.
When she’s not in the studio, Solo mentors young artists, facilitates community art workshops, and writes essays on the intersections of art, identity, and space.
